The first Oreo Café serves sundaes, shakes and a secret menu item • GEEKSPIN

For the first time in 109 years of history, Oreo has finally opened its own café.

Simply called the Café Oreo, Partly Quick-Service Joint, Part Merchandising Store is described as “a new, immersive and personalized way for all cookie fans and lovers to experience Oreo in person!”

Officially opened on August 3, the 3,500 square foot space is located on the third floor of the It’Sugar store in the American Dream complex at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Oreo called the cafe’s quick-service restaurant “a one-of-a-kind treat bar, where visitors can personalize candy or choose from a delicious menu of decadent Oreo-inspired desserts.”

The coffee menu breaks down into three categories: Oreo Desserts, Drinks, and the so-called “Twist Your Oreo”. Treats in the Oreo Desserts section include a waffle sundae with baked Oreos chunks; an Oreo Cookies & Cream cheesecake with milk chocolate rosettes; and an Oreo cookie brownie mousse with chocolate ganache fillets.

Drinks available include an Oreo accented smoothie and cold brew as well as staples like coffee and tea. The ‘Twist Your Oreo’ option, meanwhile, allows customers to choose their favorite base – waffle, ice cream sandwich, cone or milkshake – top it with ice cream and smother it with a selection of 17 Oreo-themed toppings like Oreo treats, gelatin bears, praline pecans, sprinkles and more.

The personalized treat is then covered with chocolate syrup, whipped cream, chocolate sauce or caramel sauce depending on the customer’s choice. With multiple options to choose from, there would be over 200 possible combinations.

The Oreo Café also serves a not-so-secret secret menu item called the Oreo Donut S’Morewich, which features scoops of Oreo ice cream, sandwiched between pieces of chocolate waffle cone, then topped with a giant marshmallow, glazed donut, fudge, oreo chips and cookies.

As previously mentioned, the Oreo Café is part of the merchandise store where customers can purchase all kinds of Oreo cookie varieties as well as Oreo branded merchandise including clothing, tote bags, and home decor. . Fans who cannot make it to East Rutherford can purchase the Oreo products and merchandise at and
