Cracker Barrel Jackson NJ

If you ask Jersey Shore residents what restaurant they would like Santa Claus to bring them, the number one answer will always be Cracker Barrel.

Well, we had to be on the nice list this year, as there are rumors the Shore might have one.

I have never been to Cracker Barrel but based on your rave reviews I have to go to this place.

The nearest Cracker Barrel to us is located approximately 40 miles west of Ocean County in Mount Laurel.

So why all the hype?

Comfort food. Who doesn’t love homemade macaroni and cheese, meatloaf and pot pies?

They even take care of the meals. A Christmas Cracker Barrel looks pretty amazing.

This feast looks amazing.

When I ask what to try in the Southern Comfort Kitchen restaurant chain, popular answers always include:

  1. Chicken Dumplins
  2. Double chocolate fudge Coca-Cola cake (yum!)
  3. Sauce n ‘Biscuits
  4. Maple bacon burger
  5. Country Fried Shrimps
  6. Southern Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad
  7. Pecan pancakes

These are just to name a few.

The wish for a Cracker Barrel opening in Shore is not new.

We have been begging and begging for this restaurant to come to town for years.

There is a huge entertainment complex under construction in Jackson.

It’s called Adventure Crossing USA. It is located just between 195 and Great Adventure.

Developer Vito Cardinale isn’t kidding with this $ 800 million project.

This giant space will have indoor and outdoor sports grounds and areas.

Two large hotels have agreed to open on the Adventure Crossing USA site.

There will also be a large retail space on these 238 acres.

Cardinale said in a recent interview that he is working very hard to move in two particular companies.

Bass Pro Shops and, you guessed it, Cracker Barrel.

Vito is known to listen to the public and he has definitely heard our calls.

It’s unclear how the negotiations with Cracker Barrel go, but don’t be surprised if the very first restaurant in the area is in Adventure Crossing USA.
